Annelies

Chrismas and NY in Belgium
Hi all,
First of all, my best wishes for 2009 to all of you... May all your dreams come true and may you find love and joy in your life.
Time to catch up, because during my stay in Belgium some people started to complain about the lack of activity on this blog. Let's change this :). Subjects that still have to come:
On December 23th, I arrived smooth and safe at home after a nice 8 hour trip by car. The day before the Lausanne-belgians who were still in Switzerland, putted every little piece of food that wouldn't survive our absense together and we came out with some nice stuff: Tuna-salad, patato-salad, chocolate-cake and rösti.
I celebrated Chrismas with my family, really nice to have them around again. NYE was celebrated with my BEST friends at Casa Coleta in Ghent and a marvelous party afterwards. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
All the other days I was home (some 12 in total), I studied (...) and I did 2 out of the 3 things I really wanted to do: I went shopping and I saw Loft (a Belgian movie).
Tomorrow I'm going international again: I will take the train to Arlon where my Luxemburg danspartner will pick me up and drive me (and 2 others) to Lausanne. I feel like I'm quiting holidays now and going back to normal life... in Lausanne !
