day 1: Efficient vs inefficient

This morning i flew to the EPFL in 10 minutes, thanks to the wind in my back ;-)

First lesson in Biomechanics of the Cardiovascular System went very well. Not that difficult to follow, entertaining professor, nice stories and so on.
Then i went to the library to print some articles and started reading one of them, till Thibo joined me.

In the afternoon i was the only Exchange student in the 'Practices in Physiology for LST' and the teacher ignored speaking English, although in the course book is writen that the lessons are in English. He explained that the lessons will start at the end of September and that i should have some neurophysiology background.

I'll have to talk to the unreachable (by mail - he never answered my previous ones) professor Pralong about it. Hope it all goes well and that i don't have to find an other course.

Afterwards i went to the sports villa, to inscript me for the dancing lessons. Damn, what a giant que and a slow process. (Industrial Engineers, where are you?). Although i had the intention to go jogging, the longer I standed there, the less the intention stayed alive. Tomorrow I'll take my runningshoes to the university !
